With a seafront location and large gardens, The Headlands is a 5-minute walk from Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle Waterpark and South Pier, and has free on-site parking. The beach is just across the promenade where guests can see the biggest glitterball in the world
The Headlands is on Blackpool's New South Promenade, which is the quieter side of the town. It has free Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel, and some front-facing bedrooms with balconies.
All rooms at the hotel feature en suite bathrooms with a bath or shower. Rooms all have TVs and tea and coffee-making facilities.
Blackpool's trams and buses stop outside the hotel and head towards the town centre, Blackpool Tower and many other attractions. The Solaris Centre and beach are opposite.
This family-run hotel offers home-cooked meals in the dining room,, and serves a good breakfast and a 3-course evening meal. Bar snacks are available at lunchtime, and guests can enjoy free tea and biscuits from 15:30 to 17:30.
The fully licensed bar has a pool, darts and bar games, and Playstation games consoles. During the summer season entertainment is held 2 nights a week, mid-week.
Travel information
By Car:
- At junction 32 leave the M6 motorway onto the M55 heading to Blackpool.
- At the end of the M55 bear left and follow the signs for the Airport (Squires Gate Lane)
- Continue past the airport over the bridge to the seafront.
- At the traffic lights, turn right onto the promenade. The hotel is 600 m along on the right-hand side, just past the Glitter Ball.
